CDD & Client File Reviewer (Fixed Term)

We are currently looking for a CDD & Client File Reviewer to join Bourse Trust Company Limited on a fixed term contract of 6-12 months

The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing CDD & client files to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies, thereby supporting our commitment to excellence and risk management.

Key responsibilities

Customer Due Diligence

  •  Perform comprehensive CDD and enhanced due diligence (EDD) checks on existing clients, including individuals, companies, trusts, and other structures.

  • Review and assess client documentation in line with Guernsey AML/CFT regulations, GFSC rules, and internal policies.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date CDD records in internal systems (CDD Library) and databases.

  • Escalate high-risk matters or concerns to the Compliance Officer or MLRO as appropriate.

  • Liaise with client relationship teams to obtain required client documentation and resolve CDD queries.

  • Assist in the development and continuous improvement of CDD procedures and checklists.

  • Support compliance reporting and audit preparation as needed.

File Review and Analysis:

  • Conduct thorough periodic and ongoing reviews of client files to ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and internal policies.

  • Identify and document any discrepancies or areas of non-compliance and recommend corrective actions.

  • Ensure accurate logging of all action points required following the review in the relevant location within the system.

Skills, knowledge, expertise

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a compliance or client facing role within the trust, fiduciary, or financial services industry.

  • Previous experience as a Client File Reviewer is highly desirable.

  • Knowledge of Guernsey regulatory framework and anti-money laundering regulations.

  • ICA (International Compliance Association) or STEP qualification is desirable.

  • High attention to detail, strong organisational and analytical skills.

  • Good level of computer literacy – experience of 5-Series (company database) and/or Laserfiche (document management and forms system) desirable.
